Winery Announcements for 2026

Updates about the 2025 Vintage of Futures

Beginning with the 2025 vintage, we are fine tuning our barrel aging to better match the unique character of each blend or varietal. This gives some wines a little more time to rest and evolve, while others may have less oak to capture their freshness and vibrancy. There won't be a distinction between green and red caps, but we'll let you know just how long each wine was barrel aged at the time of release.

The 2025 futures were first offered to our club members in May of 2025 for six weeks at a low initial release price. They were put back on sale for a short period at slightly higher prices just before the 2025 harvest and will not be available on our website again until after we bottle the 2024 vintage in January 2026. At that time we will make an announcement that the 2025 Futures are again available on our website through June of 2026.

All 2025 wines will be released beginning in February of 2027, with the following exceptions: 2025 Gewurztraminer and Viognier, both white wines, will be bottled in January of 2026, and futures of these wines can be released upon request, in full 12pk case lots, beginning in February of 2026.

Highlights about a few of our latest offerings

2025 Sparkling Blanc de Blancs

This 100% estate grown and produced 2025 vintage consists predominantly of Sauvignon Blanc, with a small percentage of Riesling added for a more complex, full-flavored finish. We believe the Sauvignon Blanc grape has the perfect acidity and flavor profile to make a traditional Méthode Champenoise Sparkling, and with the intensive care and attention required throughout the process, we expect a bubbly bursting with vibrant citrus, green apple and white blossom aromatics, all lifted by fine lively bubbles and a crisp, elegant finish. It should be zesty, celebratory and utterly refreshing. Expected release date for this special bottling should be approximately August of 2026.

2025 Gewurztraminer

Based on the popularity of our first ever stand alone 100% Gewürztraminer in 2024, we've followed up with a 2025 vintage which will also be a dry expression of this crisp white wine, typically featuring hints of lychee and pineapple. While completely dry, the wine carries a delicate impression of sweetness from the grape’s naturally expressive fruit character. Best known for its intense floral aromas, Gewürztraminer has been cultivated for centuries in the foothills of the Alps and the Vosges Mountains. Our 250 vines, sourced from local nursery stock, were planted in 2012 and 2016, bringing this aromatic varietal to life in our vineyard. This estate grown and bottled wine will have a very limited release as only approximately 15 cases were produced.

2025 Viognier

This 100% Viognier marks the second stand alone version of this varietal in our lineup for 2025. Rich and viscous, this full-bodied white is exotic, yet genteel, with dry crisp acidity and approachable refreshing flavors. Originally from France’s Northern Rhône, Viognier has grown in popularity worldwide, especially in California and Australia. Our small plot of approximately 270 vines, sourced from local nursery stock, was planted in 2017. With only approximately 60 cases produced, this estate grown wine showcases the varietal’s distinctive character.

2025 Chardonnay

Back by popular demand for a second season, this 100% estate grown Chardonnay will be aged 10 months exclusively in mixed oak barrels. Chardonnay is a popular, versatile white wine grape originally from the Burgundy region of France, and is typically medium-bodied and known for its diverse styles. We're aiming for a rich and buttery style from the oak, with layers of butterscotch, vanilla bean, and baked pear, all wrapped up with a creamy, full-bodied velvety mouth feel and moderate acidity to keep it fresh and lively. Our vines were originally planted in 2013 with additional plantings in 2023. With limited yields for 2025, only 35-40 cases will be produced. We expect to bottle and release this wine in approximately August of 2026.

2025 Merlot

With the success and popularity of the 2023 and 2024 vintages, we have set aside a portion of our 2025 Merlot to produce another 100% estate grown varietal from this versatile grape. The Merlot grape originates from the Bordeaux area of France, and is the most widely-planted grape variety in that region. Our Merlot grapevines were first established on our estate vineyard in 1983 and have been a major component of our Aca Modot blend since that time. We planted more Merlot in 2010, giving us the opportunity to produce a stand alone varietal in recent years. Expect vibrant fruit flavors and mild, yet firm tannins, for a complexity and structure that will continue to shine through as this varietal comes into its own here on our estate vineyard.

2025 Super Tuscan Style

This year's bottling of our Super Tuscan Style, will be a slightly different than either the 2023 and 2024 blends. The 2025 vintage will consist of approximately 33% Sangiovese, 33% Cabernet and smaller percentages of Aglianico and Sagrantino. Led by the traditional Super Tuscan varietals of Cabernet and Sangiovese, we are expecting a complex full-bodied wine with dark fruit flavors, robust structure and a powerful finish. Inspired by groundbreaking wines of Tuscany that challenged tradition, this blend embodies our philosophy of crafting bold, rule-defying wines. True to the spirit of the "Super Tuscan" style, this wine will be an innovative expression of the unique character of our vineyard and wine making style.

2025 Nebbiolo (a recent addition, following the 2025 harvest)

Bottled as a single varietal for the first time since 2023, this 100% estate grown Nebbiolo delivers flavors of tart cherries with soft vanilla tones from influence of oak barrels, supported by firm tannins and bright acidity that give this wine remarkable aging potential. The Nebbiolo grape is one of Italy's most historic and revered grape varieties, with roots tracing back to the Piedmont region of northwestern Italy. With its tendency for early budding and late ripening, requiring ample sun and well-drained soils to thrive, we believed our vineyard would be a good candidate for growing Nebbiolo and have planted small plots of vines from 2013-2023.

Reminder: Issues with Screw cap Removal

If you encounter bottles with screw caps that resist twisting off or come off in one piece, you can use a standard foil cutter to remove the top of any capsule that won't twist off. We've had some sporadic undetected bottling line malfunctions over the last couple of years, and have been working closely with an expert technician from the supplier to remedy these issues going forward. The wine is in no way compromised. Thank you for your understanding.
