Home Improvement

We went camping this last weekend. We thought we were going to get away from the construction. Well Friday night Scarlett got into a car accident. She ran into her Ex-Boyfriend’s truck at 11:30 p.m. She didn't get hurt but did considerable amount of damage to her NEW car.

They (Sam & Scarlett) decided not to tell my mom about the accident so she wouldn't get upset. That was the wrong thing to do. Mom going out to get the mail saw the front end of her car all smashed up - she missed the step and fell head first on the side walk. She blacked out. Sam heard someone call in front and went out and had to pick her up off the ground. She got a black eye, bruised knees and her wrist is bruised, what a sight. She said she is going to tell everyone that her son-in-law did it.

The house is coming along very nicely. We are now $20,000 over budget and growing. They finished Scarlett's room but she will hardly be in it because she has to get 3 jobs to pay for her insurance.  All the new windows are in and they will be painting mom's apartment this week. We will be putting in the carpet and tile this week also. Marty's room will be the last one completed because they need to get in his room to put the electric in mom's kitchen.

I now have to pick a color to stucco our house what a decision they are all ugly. I can't do blue because all the houses around me are blue and ugly blue if is do say so. I am leaning to a green/grey color - at least it will match the color of the pool (HA HA). The guy who is doing the blinds will be come in next week - That shit is expensive. $2500.00 almost as much as the windows. I'm going to have to get another part time job just for the blinds. It's almost over.

Everyone is getting a little edgy, even Jim is starting to get upset with mom. For the record I am getting along great with her so for any of you who bet that I would have killed her by now YOU LOSE. I'm going to miss her when she goes out to her rooms. I don't have to wash clothes, vacuum, mop or clean the kitchen. She has been doing it all. What a life. Maybe the kids can go out to the room. Oh well life goes on.
