December 2 - December 15, 2018

	Tuesday December 4, 2018 8:15 Pm: We have a new water system, state of the art. It is so cool because the easiest way was to have great water,.... was to even use it in the garden! Since all the water now is going over from a tank it was easier to have everything on the same system............. I have sold most of my trades............   I have 25% AMZN left at still a profit. I could have sold the other 60% yesterday at higher prices but I did well. As most of you know I am concerned about the World situations which makes a difference in our economy and thus the only thing the Market assesses is the Future of the economy.............. We have all our barrels out............Yes all the new 2018 barrels are out in the open in our parking lot. The high today here was 60 and the high tomorrow will be similar. We can leave barrels outside even in the rain. There is documented evidence other alcohol in barrels have been just fine being under water............ So we are ready with all these 2018 wines ready to blend. Jose and Salvador and Catarino have put all these 17 concoctions lined up in rows and ready to put in tanks AFTER leaving 4 gallons in the bottom of the barrel to start making Zp2c. By leaving 4 gallons for 248 barrels we will lose over 15. That is an adventure because i have to decide which of these 17 blends will have less barrels............I love what I do, the diary helps Wednesday December 5, 2018 I was depressed since the Stock Market was closed today for a good cause. I appreciated all the nice speeches for our past President. The post office was closed today also but I got delivery of 4 heavy boxes from our local Geyserville Post Office. I was told by the nice lady, all are nice who delver to me, that she had to be hired since she was not a permanent employee and they had too many boxes, a lot for me as I know, and they had no room in their small office. Her truck was all loaded with packages. She looked happy and ready to drive up the road. I remembered delivering boxes in San Francisco, I will look back and see if I mentioned it before......... The barrels are all outside now so we will start blending next week, organization, this diary helps me think........The Romanoffs soon up stairs I do want to say tomorrow will be another day for me concerned about the Stock Market. I only have 10% invested now but I still believe in TSLA, Tesla, so I still have my core investment in Tesla. The stock has not gone down yet even though all the high flyers have gone down as much as 30 percent.............Tomorrow is another day!!! Thursday December 6, 2018 Wow the market recovered today after being down to a critical point so is this the bulls trying in make their case or are the bears, who know some unpredictable events: soon.......In any case for now the Market is upset with the unpredictable! The Stock Market is the real auction!!!!!!!!!!! So I will hold my TSLA and if the Market is up early tomorrow I will sell the rest of my trade in AMZN. I love the company but I am concerned about the Future We will now blend our 2018 wines, it will be fun next week........... Friday December 7, 2018... I was not born then, Dec 7,1941, but I sure heard back from everyone who was older than I................ Cory my cat just came around and came in the other door so is he learning? OK, the Market was down again. Remember the Market is an auction! It is just calculating how the listed stocks will do in the next 6 months..........Yes, I have been around..........I know back in 1962........ Now this is important......Do you have a Kindle? We were good and I liked her Mother and Father. Her Father mentioned the stock market so to this day he influenced me to what I like now, The Market is a Passion, like many other things.......... My Family is first winemaking is next and the Market is one of my true passions Monday December 10, 2018 We are blending now. Today, we blended 2018 Dave's Cuvee and Petite Verdot. We will be making great 2018 wine in the next few days Kate and Bryan are in Chile now honeymooning............ OK, the stock Market.............. I saw the Dow say we are in a sell off, even with the nice recovery today. I am willing to sell my last possession of AMZN stock, but it would have to get higher...........OK TSLA keeeeppppppppppp going up so I will keep my core investment. I hate Consumer Reports only when I know more than them. They rate Tesla as a bad car? They only rate cars by frequency of repair, but they never are concerned about recalls so i sent them a message...........why not consider recalls in your evaluation and most recalls are Japanese cars and Tesla has no recalls and Tesla is rated low for some strange reason............seriously why does Consumer Reports still like Sears products? Why do they like Japanese Cars and don't consider their recalls in their evaluation???????? Tomorrow Day? Tuesday December 11, 2018 I am confused, sure I am confused everyday I get up and enjoy The Market, but today was confusing. The Dow Theory should say it has happened and the Market will go down or hopefully sideways. I always thought this was a stupid idea back in the 60's, because to have it happen, It takes a lot of important stocks to go down so half the drop or advance has happened.........NOW So back in 2008 I was happy to have a new President and I hoped the USA would not fail so I put my money in AMZN, I had big loses for months..........back then Amazon went down from 101.09, .........a year earlier in 2007........., to 34.68 in Oct, 2008. The Dow Theory was interesting back then. I did not believe it meant anything anymore,........ because the Transportation stocks were Railroads back when I got in the Market in the 60's, We were hearing only about airlines........The Transportation index has to agree with the Industrials......... I don't know the exact time the Dow Theory predicted the 2008 Crash but they were certainly right at a place you could have sold all of your stocks and even pick up every good company at lower prices, seriously Ford sold for 99 cents one day you could have bought Amazon at 34.68 and NOW I see Amazon down from 2050.50 to 1648 now. I think the old Dow Theory has predicted a sell signal. Let's hope it does not predict a further down turn in stocks. Most great growth stocks have been down 30%. As you know I worry.........   Thursday December 13, 2018 It has been 8 weeks since I had a problem with the Winegrowers. Some of you may not know but I was one a few who organized this new organization in Dry Creek Valley...............Lou Preston was a visionary and he got only a few of us to start what we thought would be say::::.......... we are here, come see us. The Passport Event was my desire so I was one of the first on the committee even though I was only a grower.......... Now I have a dispute with the people who were hired by the board!! This is not an organization who is ruled by the board. I was on the board in the past. The members on the Board have to run their vineyards and wineries so this is not a big time for them.   So they have several people who administrate and promote Dry Creek. I pay their salary along with all members. It seems we did not attend a meeting, but Jessie said he did so we have been in contact with Ann, and Debbie SSSSOOO They say Jesse was not there because he had not signed in. OH.........hhhhhoh  this is good, so they refused to give us our final check for $1000 because Jessie did not sign in............This is real complicated and I am sorry to say we may drop out of The WineGrowers,,,,,,,,,,,,but I have to think of other things................. Water problems, Winemaking.......stock market, I am buying again..........gee So I am giving money at the end of the year to my employees, complicated............ Tomorrow is another day Friday December 14, 2018, Happy Birthday Susie I started investing again in The Market. I know I said The Dow Theory should be predicting a Market decline but stocks are down so far, figure I might as well start putting my 90% cash into play SO I bought back some of my AMZN and also some Chinese stocks.
