June 19 - June 25, 2016

Sunday June 19, 2016 So I think I mentioned we are selling our house in Seattle. Why did I want to buy it in the first place: because Susie needed a place that would allow cats. "Hey Sus, you could rent from me and it would cost you less to rent from me"..........She agreed............At that time Sus was having trouble finding a job........2010, yes some of you may remember how hard it was to find a job. Sus, graduated from Washington in three years. She is smarter than I........OK, I know most of you are not up in the West Coast North world, up toward Alaska so I understand you probably would not jump at the possibility to buy a great house like I did in 2010. Now, Susie wants to move on and maybe come back to the Bay Area so she decided to move out a month ago and we decided to sell our great house up North. So we had an offer right away and they want to purchase quickly. A long story but these people are nice and young and the type of people we want to survive in our world so I am helping them out. So we had the offer right away, even above the asking price..........they sent me a picture of their 2 year old, cute as can be, having fun pushing berries in her mouth, adorable. We have raspberries there ripe right now, I know since I was there on July 4 2010 and made a great raspberry pie.........I digress They have arranged a day school within a mile of this wonderful house that Susie lived in so I am a bleeding heart......long story............they want to move in before we close..........I am in favor of it but no one agrees with me......but I convinced Pat to let them move in and pay rent and even close up to 6 weeks from now because the loan is delayed.........To me I know the possibility: they would occupy our house and never move out? I have heard that, but I don't think these people would do that......they love this house and so did I and Susie SO I am happy to help them out before we close..................... I heard today they moved in yesterday and the house just blows them away: all they can talk about is how gorgeous and perfect it is. Their 2 year old daughter Alaia is beside herself with joy picking flowers and eating raspberries. I believe I did the right thing........... Monday June 20, 2016 soon to be the longest light year........... So I have mentioned my neighbors who have two dogs or so. One barks a lot and the other terrorizes my customers. Sure it is not all the time but enough so my employees have alerted me about it........Also I have heard from our relatives who stay here for events, they go out early to take a walk after staying across the way and they are confronted by a large bit bull like dog, much larger than a pure Pit bull. I have contacted the renters and their owners. So I called the County and they will send a warning letter to them. I don't want to cause a problem, hey they could have guns..........I hate the republicans what they are doing about gun laws. I do not own guns but I know must people do........I feel a violent dog could be a problem also........... OK, it is getting close to bottling and then Harvest so I am getting ready. Here is our schedule for bottling starting on July 5.........As I have said my life is an open book...........I will ask any question honestly.............This next few weeks will be fun.............
